A Seat at Bear’s Table

To kick off the 40th anniversary celebrations of the Paul “Bear” Bryant Awards, the American Heart Association is hosting an exclusive speaker series luncheon in late August or early September 2025 at the Houstonian Hotel. This intimate event will feature former players of Coach Bryant, including Jackie Sherrill, Gene Stallings, and members of the legendary Junction Boys, sharing personal stories and reflections on Bryant’s enduring legacy. Tables and individual tickets will be available for purchase, offering attendees a unique opportunity to engage with these football icons while supporting the AHA’s mission to combat heart disease and stroke. This luncheon not only honors Coach Bryant’s profound impact on college football but also serves as a meaningful prelude to the milestone anniversary of the awards that bear his name.
