Red River Reunion

On October 10, 2025, the Paul “Bear” Bryant Awards will host a special luncheon in Dallas, Texas, honoring two of college football’s most respected coaches—Mack Brown and Bob Stoops. Both have previously been recognized by the Bryant Awards: Brown received the Coach of the Year Award in 2005 and the Lifetime Achievement Award in 2016, while Stoops was honored with the Lifetime Achievement Award in 2022 . This intimate event will celebrate their enduring legacies and their contributions to the sport, coinciding with the Red River Rivalry weekend. Tables and individual tickets will be available for purchase, offering attendees a unique opportunity to engage with these football icons while supporting the American Heart Association’s mission to combat heart disease and stroke. This luncheon not only honors the achievements of Coaches Brown and Stoops but also serves as a meaningful prelude to the 40th anniversary celebrations of the Bear Bryant Awards, embracing the spirit and energy of one of college football’s greatest rivalries.
