ESPN’s Dusty Dvoracek to Host the 2024 Paul “Bear” Bryant Awards
HOUSTON, December 8, 2023 – The American Heart Association is pleased to announce ESPN College Football Analyst Dusty Dvoracek will return to host the 2024 Paul “Bear” Bryant Awards on January 10. The Awards recognize college football coaching excellence while raising critical funds to support the mission of the American Heart Association.
Dvoracek is a college football analyst for ESPN and ABC and is also the co-host of “Dusty and Danny” on Sirius XM each weekday. Dvoracek played for the Oklahoma Sooners from 2001-2005 where he was a part of two Big 12 conference championships and was twice named an All-Big 12 selection.
In 2006, Dvoracek was drafted in the third round of the NFL Draft by the Chicago Bears where he played four season before starting his career as a college football analyst for Fox Sports Southwest and Fox Sports Oklahoma.
In October, Twenty-six active college football coaches were named to the 2023 Paul “Bear” Bryant Coach of the Year Award Watch List. The finalists for the Award will be announced on December 14, 2023 and the Coach of the Year Award will be presented at the Houston ceremony on January 10, 2024.
