Red River Reunion

On October 10, 2025, the Paul “Bear” Bryant Awards will host a special luncheon in Dallas, Texas, honoring two of college football’s most respected coaches—Mack Brown and Barry Switzer. Both have previously been recognized by the Bryant Awards: Brown received the Coach of the Year Award in 2005 and the Lifetime Achievement Award in 2016, while Switzer was honored with the Lifetime Achievement Award in 2009 . This intimate event will celebrate their enduring legacies and their contributions to the sport, coinciding with the Red River Rivalry weekend. Attendees will have a unique opportunity to engage with these football icons while supporting the American Heart Association’s mission to combat heart disease and stroke.
