Paul “Bear” Bryant Awards To Host College Football Podcast Show Friday October 9

ARLINGTON, Texas, October 6, 2026 — As fans flood into north Texas for the annual Red River Showdown, the American Heart Association’s Paul “Bear” Bryant Awards will play host to a special fan-focused event, the College Football Podcast Show on Friday, October 9. The event will take place from noon to 4 p.m. at Texas Live! In Arlington, Texas. Admission is free and open to the public.

The special event will feature popular podcasts “The Oklahoma Breakdown with Ikard and Lehman,” “The Girl Herd,” “3rd and Longhorn,” “The Bozcast featuring Brian Bosworth” and more.

The College Football Podcast Show will celebrate the enduring spirit of the Red River Rivalry while supporting the American Heart Association and the Paul “Bear” Bryant Awards program, which honors college football coaches for excellence both on and off the field, while raising life-saving funds to fight cardiovascular disease.

The American Heart Association, a relentless force changing the future of health for everyone everywhere, presents the Bear Bryant Awards annually to celebrate excellence in coaching, to honor Coach Bryant’s legacy and to raise awareness and critical funds for its mission. The coaching legend died from a heart attack in 1983, just 28 days after his final victory and retirement.
